The Askam Story
Askam was a Turkish truck manufacturer whose origins lay in Chrysler Sanayi, a 1960s joint venture that assembled Chrysler-designed trucks in Turkey under names such as Fargo and De Soto. The company was renamed Askam after Chrysler's exit, continuing to build light and medium trucks before production ceased in the mid-2010s.
