Brand History
The Oshkosh Story
Oshkosh was founded in 1917 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin as an early specialist in four-wheel-drive trucks. Over the following century it grew into a maker of heavy-duty specialty vehicles, including military tactical trucks such as the HEMTT and JLTV, airport fire apparatus, concrete mixers and refuse trucks, and it owns fire-truck maker Pierce Manufacturing.
