Brand History
The Yulon Story
Yulon Motor is a Taiwanese automaker founded in 1953 by Yen Ching-ling, making it one of Taiwan's oldest vehicle manufacturers. For decades it assembled cars under license, most notably for Nissan, becoming the island's leading auto group. In 2010 it launched Luxgen, its own domestic brand, and it has since partnered with Foxconn on the Foxtron electric vehicle venture.
Current Lineup
Yulon continues to assemble Nissan vehicles in Taiwan, operates the Luxgen brand, and co-develops electric vehicles with Foxconn through Foxtron.
