Brand History
The Aixam Story
Aixam was founded in 1983 in Aix-les-Bains, France, to build microcars, taking over from the earlier Arola concern. It became Europe's leading maker of light quadricycles, small cars that in many countries can be driven without a full license, and was acquired by the American company Polaris in 2013.
