Brand History
The Brabus Story
Brabus was founded in 1977 in Bottrop, Germany, by Bodo Buschmann and became the world's best-known independent Mercedes-Benz tuner. The company built its name on extreme engine conversions, including record-setting V12-powered sedans such as the Brabus Rocket, alongside comprehensive interior and styling programmes. It holds manufacturer status in Germany and also modifies Smart cars and, more recently, other brands and marine products.
