Brand History
The Cole Story
The Cole Motor Car Company was founded in Indianapolis in 1909 by Joseph J. Cole and built well-regarded luxury automobiles. Cole was an early adopter of the V8 engine, introducing one in 1915 shortly after Cadillac, and marketed its cars to an upscale clientele. Rather than fight the worsening market conditions of the mid-1920s, Cole chose voluntary liquidation, ending production in 1925.
Current Lineup
Cole ceased operations in 1925 when its founder wound the company down while it was still solvent.
