The DINA Story
DINA (Diesel Nacional) was founded in 1951 in Ciudad Sahagún, Mexico, as a state-backed manufacturer of trucks and buses, initially building vehicles under license from foreign partners including Fiat and International Harvester. It became one of Latin America's significant commercial-vehicle producers and was privatized in 1989.
