Brand History
The Eagle Story
Eagle was created by Chrysler in 1988 following its purchase of American Motors, conceived as a brand for import-minded buyers sold through Jeep-Eagle dealers. Its lineup mixed sources: the Renault-developed Premier, the Mitsubishi-based Talon sports coupe, and the LH-platform Vision sedan. The brand never established a clear identity and was discontinued in 1998.
