The FAW Jiefang Story
Jiefang, meaning 'Liberation', is FAW's commercial vehicle brand and the oldest truck marque in China, dating to the Jiefang CA10 of 1956, which was based on the Soviet ZIS-150. The brand became synonymous with Chinese trucking, and FAW Jiefang was later organized as a dedicated commercial vehicle company within the FAW Group.
