Brand History
The GasGas Story
GasGas was founded in 1985 in Girona, Spain, by Narcís Casas and Josep Pibernat, initially focusing on trial motorcycles after the demise of Bultaco. The brand won numerous world trials championships and built a strong enduro range, but suffered financial collapse in the 2010s. In 2019 it was acquired by Austria's Pierer Mobility group, parent of KTM, which relaunched GasGas motocross and enduro bikes on shared platforms.
Current Lineup
GasGas is active as part of the Pierer Mobility (KTM) group, selling motocross, enduro and trial motorcycles and competing in MotoGP and supercross.
