Brand History
The IM Motors Story
IM Motors, known as Zhiji in China, was founded in 2020 as a premium electric vehicle venture backed by SAIC Motor, Alibaba and Shanghai's Zhangjiang Hi-Tech. Positioned as SAIC's technology flagship, it launched the L7 sedan in 2022, followed by the LS7 and LS6 SUVs and the L6 sedan, emphasising advanced driver assistance and fast-charging technology.
Current Lineup
IM Motors sells premium electric sedans and SUVs in China and has begun expanding into export markets under SAIC's umbrella.
