Brand History
The IKCO Story
IKCO (Iran Khodro) was founded in 1962 by the Khayami brothers and became Iran's largest automaker. Its defining product was the Paykan, a licence-built version of the British Hillman Hunter that served as Iran's national car from 1967 until 2005. The company later built Peugeot models under licence in large volumes and developed its own designs, including the Samand, launched in the 2000s as a national car successor.

Current Lineup
