Brand History
The Marcos Story
Marcos was founded in 1959 by Jem Marsh and Frank Costin, whose surnames combined to form the brand name. Early cars famously used plywood chassis construction derived from Costin's aviation background, and the long-nosed Marcos GT of the 1960s became a cult sports car. The company went through repeated closures and revivals before ceasing production for good in 2007.
