Brand History
The Microcar Story
Microcar was founded in 1984 in France as an offshoot of the Bénéteau boatbuilding group, applying fiberglass expertise to light quadricycles that can be driven without a full car license in much of Europe. In 2008 it merged with the automobile arm of Ligier to form one of Europe's largest microcar groups.
Current Lineup
Microcar models are produced within the Ligier Group's range of license-free light vehicles.
