Brand History
The Moto Morini Story
Moto Morini was founded in Bologna in 1937 by Alfio Morini, who had earlier built racing motorcycles with the MM marque. The company earned a strong reputation in the postwar decades, most famously with the 3½, a 350cc V-twin of the 1970s admired for its advanced engineering and handling. After Alfio Morini's death the firm passed through several owners, including Cagiva, and endured periods of closure and relaunch.
Current Lineup
Since 2018 Moto Morini has been owned by China's Zhongneng Vehicle Group and builds a range of middleweight motorcycles from its base at Trivolzio, near Pavia.
