Brand History
The Nash Story
Nash Motors was founded in 1916 when Charles W. Nash, a former president of General Motors, purchased the Thomas B. Jeffery Company of Kenosha, Wisconsin. The brand became known for engineering innovations such as the unibody Nash 600 of 1941 and pioneering cabin heating and ventilation systems, and it introduced the compact Rambler in 1950. In 1954 Nash merged with Hudson to form American Motors Corporation.
