The Shacman Story
Shacman is the truck brand of Shaanxi Automobile Group, a Chinese heavy vehicle manufacturer founded in 1968 in Shaanxi province, originally established to build military off-road trucks. It grew into one of China's major heavy truck makers, benefiting from technology cooperation with European manufacturers and close ties to engine maker Weichai, and became a significant exporter to developing markets.
