Brand History
The Sinotruk Story
Sinotruk, formally China National Heavy Duty Truck Group, traces its origins to a Jinan factory dating from 1935 and built China's first domestically produced heavy truck, the Huanghe, in 1960. It became one of the country's leading heavy vehicle makers, aided by a long technology partnership with Austria's Steyr and later an equity alliance with Germany's MAN, and its HOWO truck line achieved wide domestic and export success.
Current Lineup
Sinotruk is among the world's largest heavy truck manufacturers and a major Chinese truck exporter, with Weichai's parent Shandong Heavy Industry as a key shareholder.
