The Sisu Story
Sisu Auto was founded in 1931 in Finland as Oy Suomen Autoteollisuus Ab, its name meaning the Finnish concept of stoic determination. The company specialized in rugged trucks for logging, military, and heavy-haulage duties suited to Nordic conditions, and its vehicles have long served the Finnish Defence Forces.
