Brand History
The Talbot Story
Talbot began in 1903 as Clément-Talbot, an Anglo-French venture importing and then building cars in London, and the name subsequently passed through a complex history involving the Sunbeam-Talbot-Darracq combine and the French Talbot-Lago company, whose elegant grand tourers and Grand Prix cars of the 1930s and 1940s are among the most valuable classics today. After decades of dormancy, Peugeot's PSA Group revived Talbot in 1979 for the former Chrysler Europe range, producing models such as the Horizon, Samba, and Tagora.

Current Lineup
The Talbot brand was phased out by PSA, disappearing from passenger cars in the mid-1980s and from vans by the early 1990s, and remains dormant under Stellantis ownership.
