Brand History

The Venturi Story

Venturi was founded in France in 1984 by engineers Claude Poiraud and Gérard Godfroy to build refined French sports cars, producing models such as the Atlantique and the 400 GT and even fielding a Formula 1 team briefly in the early 1990s. After financial collapse, Monegasque entrepreneur Gildo Pallanca Pastor bought the marque in 2000 and reinvented it as an electric vehicle pioneer, setting land speed records for EVs and becoming a founding constructor in the Formula E championship.
