Brand History
The Ascari Story
Ascari Cars was founded in England in 1995 by Dutch businessman and racer Klaas Zwart, taking its name from Alberto Ascari, the first double Formula 1 world champion. The company built small numbers of V8-powered supercars, including the Ecosse and the BMW-engined KZ1, and Zwart also created the Ascari Race Resort circuit in Ronda, Spain.
