Brand History
The Bertone Story
Carrozzeria Bertone was founded in Turin in 1912 by Giovanni Bertone and rose to prominence under his son Nuccio, becoming one of Italy's most influential design houses. Bertone shaped landmark cars including the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint, Lamborghini Miura and Countach, and the Lancia Stratos, and employed designers such as Giorgetto Giugiaro and Marcello Gandini early in their careers. Beyond styling, the firm also ran coachbuilding and contract-assembly operations for major manufacturers.
