Brand History
The Bugatti Story
Ettore Bugatti, born to a family of artists, founded his company in 1909 and built cars that were equal parts sculpture and engineering — the Type 35 won over 2,000 races, and the Type 41 Royale remains among the most valuable cars ever. Revived by Volkswagen in 1998, the Veyron and Chiron redefined the hypercar; Rimac took control of the brand in 2021.
