The Carlsson Story
Carlsson was founded in 1989 in Merzig, Germany, as a tuner specialising in Mercedes-Benz vehicles, taking its name from Swedish rally driver Ingvar Carlsson. The company offered engine upgrades, aerodynamic kits, wheels and bespoke interiors, and campaigned cars in touring car racing in its early years. It encountered financial difficulty in the mid-2010s and passed to new investors.
