Brand History
The Duesenberg Story
Brothers Fred and August Duesenberg founded their company in 1913, building racing engines and cars that won the Indianapolis 500 three times and, in 1921, made Duesenberg the first American marque to win a European Grand Prix. Errett Lobban Cord acquired the firm in 1926 and commissioned the Model J of 1928, an extravagantly powerful luxury chassis bodied by the world's finest coachbuilders and driven by Hollywood royalty. The collapse of Cord's empire ended production in 1937.

3 milestone models from 1921 to 1928.
Current Lineup
Duesenberg ceased production in 1937, but its Model J remains among the most valuable American classics, and the phrase 'it's a doozy' is popularly linked to the marque.
