Brand History
The Firestone Story
Harvey Firestone founded the company in 1900 and struck an early supply deal with Henry Ford, making Firestone the tyre of the Model T era. Firestone tyres have won the Indianapolis 500 more times than any other brand. Bridgestone acquired the company in 1988.
Current Lineup
Firestone continues as Bridgestone's value and motorsport brand, and is the exclusive tyre supplier to the IndyCar Series.
