Brand History
The Fisker Story
Fisker Inc. was founded in 2016 by Danish-American designer Henrik Fisker, his second electric car venture after the earlier Fisker Automotive, maker of the Karma. The company took an asset-light approach, contracting Magna Steyr in Austria to build its Ocean electric SUV, which began production in late 2022. Deliveries were hampered by software problems, quality complaints and mounting losses.
