Brand History
The Hennessey Story
Hennessey Performance Engineering was founded in 1991 by John Hennessey in Texas, initially as a tuning business extracting extreme power from American sports cars and trucks. It became famous for the Venom GT, a Lotus-based hypercar that recorded a 270.49 mph run in 2014, and later established Hennessey Special Vehicles to build the bespoke Venom F5 hypercar. The company also produces high-performance versions of trucks and muscle cars, such as the VelociRaptor and Exorcist.
