Brand History
The Hommell Story
Automobiles Hommell was founded in 1990 by Michel Hommell, a French motoring press magnate, to build lightweight sports cars in Lohéac, Brittany. Its principal models were the Berlinette Échappement coupé and the open Barquette, mid-engined cars using Peugeot mechanicals aimed at driving purists. Production remained very limited and ended in the early 2000s.

Current Lineup
Hommell ceased car production in the early 2000s; its home town of Lohéac remains known for the motor museum and motorsport events associated with its founder.
