Brand History
The Irizar Story
Irizar was founded in 1889 in Ormaiztegi, in Spain's Basque Country, and evolved from carriage building into one of Europe's foremost coachbuilders. For most of its modern history it specialised in luxury coach bodywork mounted on chassis from major manufacturers, later developing complete integral coaches of its own. Through its Irizar e-mobility division the group has also become a manufacturer of battery-electric city buses.
