Brand History

The Isdera Story

Isdera (Ingenieurbüro für Styling, Design und Racing) was founded in 1982 by German engineer Eberhard Schulz, who had earlier designed the Mercedes-Benz CW311 concept. The small Leonberg-based firm hand-built exotic mid-engined sports cars in tiny numbers, most famously the Spectre-inspired Imperator 108i and the V12-powered Commendatore 112i, often using Mercedes-Benz drivetrains.

Current Lineup

Isdera survives as a very low-volume boutique operation and has shown electric concepts such as the Commendatore GT, though series production remains minimal.
