Brand History
The Kamaz Story
Kamaz was founded in 1969 with the construction of a giant truck plant on the Kama River at Naberezhnye Chelny, then in the Soviet Union, with the first trucks completed in 1976. It became Russia's dominant heavy-truck maker and gained worldwide fame through the Kamaz-Master team, which has won the truck class of the Dakar Rally many times.
