The Kaiyi Story

Kaiyi Auto, originally launched as Cowin Auto in 2014, began as a budget-oriented spin-off of Chery built around older Chery platforms. Ownership later shifted to state-backed investors in Yibin, Sichuan, where the company established production of value-priced sedans and SUVs for the Chinese market and export.
