Brand History

The Lexus Story

Lexus launched in 1989 with the LS 400, a sedan so refined it shocked the German establishment and redefined luxury-car quality. Built from a secret Toyota project ('the finest car ever built'), Lexus pioneered luxury hybrids with the RX 400h and remains the benchmark for reliability in the premium segment.
