Brand History
The Li Auto Story
Li Auto was founded in 2015 by entrepreneur Li Xiang, previously the founder of the Autohome web portal, to build electric vehicles suited to Chinese charging conditions. Its first model, the Li ONE of 2019, popularized extended-range electric SUVs, and the follow-up L-series made it one of the most profitable of China's new EV makers before it added battery-electric models such as the MEGA minivan.
