Brand History

The Mack Story

Mack was founded in 1900 by the Mack brothers in Brooklyn, New York, and grew into one of America's most storied heavy truck manufacturers. Its AC model earned the 'Bulldog' nickname from British soldiers during the First World War, and the bulldog became the company's enduring emblem and hood ornament. Mack has been part of Sweden's Volvo Group since 2000.
