The Mahindra Story
Mahindra was founded in 1945 in India and entered the vehicle business by assembling Willys Jeeps under license, which set the tone for its long specialization in rugged utility vehicles. Today's Mahindra & Mahindra is one of India's largest automakers, known for SUVs such as the Scorpio, Thar, and XUV700, and it is also among the world's largest tractor manufacturers by volume.
