Brand History

The Peugeot Story

The Peugeot family had made tools, coffee mills and bicycles since 1810 before Armand Peugeot built one of the world's first production cars in 1889 — making Peugeot the oldest surviving car brand. It pioneered rally and endurance success, produced icons like the 205, and merged its PSA Group with Fiat Chrysler in 2021 to form Stellantis.
