Brand History
The Saleen Story
Saleen was founded in 1983 by racing driver Steve Saleen, who built his name transforming Ford Mustangs into high-performance street and race cars. The company expanded into full manufacturing with the S7 of 2000, a mid-engined American supercar that won races internationally, and it also assembled the Ford GT for Ford in the mid-2000s.
