Origins

The V13R of 2008 broadened Campagna's appeal beyond the T-Rex's sportbike intensity: the same reversed-trike architecture powered instead by Harley-Davidson's 1.25-litre Revolution V-twin — the V-Rod's engine — trading rev-happy frenzy for muscular pulse and a cruiser-adjacent character, wrapped in more relaxed open bodywork. It courted the touring rider curious about three wheels, and Harley dealers briefly explored distribution, lending the little Quebec builder mainstream adjacency. Production continued alongside the T-Rex for years. The V13R matters as market articulation: proof the three-wheeler space Campagna pioneered contained segments, plural — and that the format could absorb American V-twin culture as naturally as Japanese four-cylinder aggression. Two decades on, both machines remain in the catalogue — rare proof that a niche, served patiently, can outlast the fashions that ignored it.
