Origins
If the XF was the long-haul flagship, the CF was the truck that turned up at building sites, supermarket depots and fire stations. It sat in the middle of the DAF range as a cab-over design available in a wide spread of axle configurations, from two-axle rigids to heavy multi-axle tippers, with the same PACCAR driveline family as its bigger sibling and gearboxes from ZF, Eaton and Allison depending on the job.
