Origins

Advanced Design Tramontana of Girona delivered its singular vision from 2007: a tandem two-seater — passenger behind driver, fighter-style — with a Mercedes-sourced twin-turbo V12 amidships, carbon bodywork of deliberate extravagance, and Spanish artisan construction at seven-figure prices. Around a dozen commissions emerged over the following years, each customised to the point of uniqueness. The layout made the argument: this was a road-legal expression of single-seater fantasy, uncompromised by convention or passengers' conversation. Spain's tiny supercar tradition — Pegaso's ghost, GTA's Spano — gained its most eccentric member. The Tramontana endures as pure boutique logic: when volume is irrelevant, the only competition is imagination, and Girona's entry remains unbeaten on configuration alone.
