Brand History
The Bizzarrini Story
Bizzarrini was founded in 1964 in Livorno by engineer Giotto Bizzarrini, who had previously worked on the Ferrari 250 GTO and helped develop Lamborghini's first V12 engine. His company built the striking 5300 GT Strada, a low-slung Chevrolet V8-powered GT derived from the Iso Grifo racing programme, along with a handful of other models. The original firm ceased production in 1969 after financial difficulties.
