Brand History
The David Brown Story
David Brown Automotive was founded in 2013 by British businessman David Brown, who shares a name with, but is unrelated to, the industrialist who once owned Aston Martin. The company builds coachbuilt, low-volume cars, launching with the Speedback GT, a retro grand tourer on Jaguar XKR underpinnings, followed by the Mini Remastered, an extensively re-engineered classic Mini. Its operations are based at Silverstone.
