Brand History
The Rimac Story
Rimac Automobili was founded in 2009 by Mate Rimac in Croatia, growing from his garage project of converting a BMW to electric power into a pioneer of electric hypercars. The Concept One of 2013 was among the world's first electric supercars, and the later Nevera set numerous acceleration and speed records for production electric vehicles. Rimac also became a major supplier of battery and electrification technology to established automakers, attracting investment from Porsche and Hyundai.
