Origins
When Fisker Automotive collapsed, China's Wanxiang bought the wreckage, renamed the company Karma, and in 2016 relaunched the seductive range-extended saloon as the Revero: the same Henrik Fisker silhouette — still among the prettiest of the electric era — with reworked electronics, solar roof, and the petrol-generator EV powertrain matured into reliability the original never achieved. Built in Moreno Valley, California, it sold in boutique numbers to buyers who wanted plug-in exclusivity outside Tesla's ubiquity. The GS series and sportier variants followed as the company iterated toward full EVs. The Revero's real story is industrial persistence: a bankrupt startup's design proving strong enough to anchor a second company — the rare failed car that genuinely deserved, and received, another attempt.
