Origins

After seven decades away from cars, Praga returned in 2023 with the Bohema: a 982-kilogram carbon-tub hypercar powered by a Litchfield-developed version of Nissan's GT-R twin-turbo V6 — around 700 horsepower — built in a limited run of 89 to honour the marque's aviation and racing continuities; the company had never stopped making aircraft and karts. Developed with input from racer Romain Grosjean, the Bohema promised downforce-rich track ability with road registration, at a price near 1.3 million euros. Deliveries began through 2024. The audacity is the point: a name from Austro-Hungarian luxury reborn at hypercar extremity, arguing that Czech engineering's oldest brand belonged in conversation with Koenigsegg — and building the carbon to sustain the claim.
