Brand History
The Dodge Story
Brothers John and Horace Dodge founded their machine shop in 1900, becoming a major parts supplier to Ford before launching their own car in 1914, which quickly earned a reputation for toughness. Chrysler acquired Dodge in 1928, and the brand became synonymous with American muscle through the Charger, Challenger, and Hemi V8s of the 1960s and again in the 2000s Hellcat era. Dodge is now Stellantis's performance brand.
Logo History
Evolution Of The Dodge Logo

1962–1976
Dodge used the 'Fratzog', a three-pointed emblem formed from three arrowhead shapes, an abstract mark whose invented name had no meaning. It has been revived in recent years for Dodge's electrified models.
1993–2010
A ram's-head badge fronted Dodge cars and trucks until the Ram truck line was spun off as its own brand, taking the emblem with it.
2010–present
Dodge adopted a wordmark with two forward-slanted red stripes, signaling its focus on performance.
