Brand History
The Foton Story
Foton Motor was established in 1996 in Beijing as a commercial vehicle manufacturer under the BAIC Group umbrella, growing rapidly into one of China's largest producers of trucks, vans, buses and pickups. Its Auman heavy-truck line became the basis of a joint venture with Daimler, and Foton vehicles are exported widely across developing markets.
